check out Yahoo Pipes

http://pipes.yahoo.com

Pipes is a free online service that lets you remix popular feed types and create data mashups using a visual editor. You can use Pipes to run your own web projects, or publish and share your own web services without ever having to write a line of code.

The best parts are operators that perform string matching and extraction tasks.

It is cool to have programming implemented so intuitively that my grandma could write something...

However, Pipes was a little bit of a disappointment after I played around with it a bit---it's remixing isn't as fully featured as I'd like, and it only processes RSS feeds. This has a slick interface, but Dapper is more practically useful, IMHO.

(disclaimer: yes, working for google probably biases me against yahoo now =) ).

Valid points Nick, it's a nice first step but definitely is lacking features for "power users" such as ourselves...

It's a mash-up tool for widgets. Though, once I played with it, I realized it isn't as cool as it could be.
